  1. do you need a safeway card to get the sale price? Is the ad coupon (juice) in the safeway flyer? I only get Super Fresh sale papers, so is the coupon available at the store? I ask because Giant doesn’t have coupons in their flyers at the store, only the ones that come in the mail. I don’t get Giant either, but I have seen them online in the flyer but they aren’t in the one at the store.

    • Yes, you will need a Safeway card to get the sale prices. You should be able to get the coupon out of the ad in the store. That’s how I always have to do it because we don’t get the Safeway ad at our house either. We went last night and there were plenty of ads as you enter the store.

  2. Hi Megan&Dave,
The 3 kids and myself went to Safeway this morning. We spent $27.67, and saved $38.80 with clubcard, and $4.60 with coupons. The green seedless grapes were $.99 lb and gala and red del apples were also $.99lb. Their sweet yellow onions were $.99 lb so got one of those too. The bread bogo, and tyson bogo was the real reason I wanted to try Safeway, but they had great prices on that fresh produce and that made me really happy. I try to feed the kids as much fresh produce as I can. Thanks guys for checking the sales and letting us know where to find some great deals. ~Liz
